Welcome to Kelsey Primary School

Year 6 Butlin's Updates

After a safe journey, all had a picnic lunch and at 2.00 were enjoying the funfair!

Tea time was at 4.45. Mr Ashmead joined the group. There was plenty to eat and lots of choice.

In the evening, there was a welcome talk and then Ellis (Learning Mentor) took the group on a tour of the site.

After that there was a quiz and a game of football before returning to the rooms.

All were in there rooms by 9.00 and some were soon asleep. Last lights were out at 10,00!

All slept well and were at breakfast at 8.00. Again lots to choose from and many were making the most of 'eat as much as you like!'

Activities were: Circus Skills, Drumming, Climbing and Quasar. There were some tired people by tea time!

This evening many of the children took up the option of face painting prior to the England v Colombia match.

We all watched the match with some Instructors and some children from Caistor Primary School.

As you will know, it ended well but was quite long. Some opted not to watch the penalties.

All was quiet by 10.30...

All slept well and had lots to eat.

The children took part in rocket science, a magic workshop, mini golf, the funfair, went to the beach and had a disco!

If they didn't sleep well after all that excitement ........

The children had a busy and hot day today. They did fun science, high ropes, archery, cinema and swimming.

They are all very tired but looking forward to coming home tomorrow.

Well, the happy campers made it home again safely. Somewhat tired and ready for their own beds, but home nonetheless.

They arrived back at school just after 2pm, looking very weary - and that was just Miss Thompson and Miss Pearson!

A great time was had by all.

Headteacher's Welcome

A very warm welcome to our website. I hope that you find it useful and informative and that  it is a helpful resource to all friends of the school.

It contains valuable information about the school (dates, letters, prospectus etc), and a list of the staff. In Classes, you will find a guide to the learning that is happening in each classroom.

Our newsletters are published every 2 weeks on the site. We also provide links to previous newsletters. In this section you will also find a printable holiday form in case your child requires time off school.

In Events you will find a list of diary dates for future events in the school year.

Make sure that you check out the web links. There are lots of great links relevant to both parents and children, including things to make and do, ideas for family days out and information about local secondary schools.

Most of the documents on the website are published as PDFs and can be read on all devices, although they can take a while to load.

Enjoy looking around.
